Flintlock Danish Cavalry Model 1806 Style Pistol 68 cal Black Powder Antique

Here we have a good looking Brass and Wood Danish cavalry pistol model 1806 Pistol.
From the wear and patina we would estimate this Pistol to be from that era. It does not appear to be a
reproduction at all.

Now this is purely a guess as there are no makers names other than a few stamped markings.

It has on left side a 1649 stamped into the brass. Right above is a 49 stamped into the wood.
On the heel brass of the grip is again the 49 stamped into the brass.
On the lock is a very tiny mark plus part of another mark visable.
On the Trigger guard is a V on the back tang.
We did strip the gun to see what may be under the barrel and found some markings (see pictures)
but could not make out what they were. A V also on the wood inside

Barrel measures 8.5 inches long and is half round half octagonal. Barrel and side lock have grey patina
in line with age. Barrel may have been shortened.
Wood does show general wear and numerous marks.
Has tight and functional mechanics.
